Even in the Wilderness
"The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus, it will burst into blossom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy."
There came a shift, in the bleak ever-waiting and bearing of trials and grief, where, in seeking God in it all, my soul found rest. I learned to recognize His beaming warmth on my face in the darkest night; to know His very certain power for all things made new; and to praise him with a joy so true it surely comes only from the fire.
Even in the wilderness, He is there, and even in the wilderness I will bless His name.
This compilation of works comes from that journey in my own life. "Therizō", of diligently sowing the little and being present in the waiting; in "Still I See Gardens", choosing hope and joy in persisting trials and grief; "I Will Bless Your Name", a love offering of thanksgiving; and in "FAITHFUL", a testimony of it God in it all.
